Privacy
This page describes what go2mark8.com collects, why, and what it does not do. It is written to match the site's actual behaviour rather than to cover every eventuality.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry through the contact form, we receive the name, email address and message you type, and the date and time you sent it. When you submit the newsletter signup in the footer, we receive the email address you enter.
That is the only information you actively give us, and we only ask for it because we cannot reply without it.
What we do with it
Enquiries are stored so that a message is never lost if our mail server is unavailable, and a notification is emailed to our team so somebody sees it. We use the address you give us to reply to you.
We do not sell enquiry details, and we do not pass them to anyone outside go2mark8 except the email provider that carries the message.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies for advertising or tracking, and runs no third-party analytics script — no Google Analytics, no advertising pixels, no social media trackers.
The only cookie the site can set is a session cookie for a signed-in administrator. If you are simply reading the site, none is set. That is why you are not being asked to accept cookies: there is nothing to accept.
Visitor statistics
We may measure which pages are read and where visitors arrived from, using our own first-party measurement rather than a third-party service. Where we do, IP addresses are stored with the final part removed, visitors are identified only by a salted, irreversible hash that cannot be turned back into an address, and detailed records are deleted after 90 days. Only day-by-day totals are kept longer.
A website cannot obtain your name, your device's MAC address, or your identity, and we make no attempt to work out who you are.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it. Email info@go2mark8.com and we will action it.
